Contemplative Life
Contemplative Prayer Service
Midweek we take a moment to pause and pray. We are restored by prayer, while quietly supported by others who pray along side us. You are most welcome to come, give yourself a gentle moment, sit in quiet and remember you are loved. Wednesdays at 11:00am in the sanctuary.
Spiritual Direction ~ Spiritual Companionship
Trinity has it's own spiritual companion-in-residence available to members of the parish family and the larger Rappahannock community. In Spiritual Companionship, one meets with the companion for one hour, once a month, to consider life in the context of faith and where God might be inviting us to go deeper.
Spiritual companionship is neither counseling or therapy; it is not a quick fix for our problems. Instead, this is an opportunity to look at the many parts of our life with a view to what God might be doing in our lives.
If you are interested in learning more about spiritual companionship, please contact
Diane Paras.
Quiet Days and Retreats
Throughout the year, we appreciate the benefit of a day of quiet or a weekend away, time set aside to listen for God's word while we invite the Holy Spirit into our hearts.
We also love to get away to Shrine Mont together, our annual retreat where we sing and laugh, share meals and hikes, ask questions and learn. Information, dates and frequently asked questions may be found in our weekly newsletter, Trinity Tidings. If you are not on our mailing list, please let the parish office know.
