Family First Sundays: May 1st, June 5th, July 3rd, August7th
On the first Sunday of each month, our 10:30am service will include an even more intentional welcome to youth and families. The sermon will be geared towards children and we will have snacks and Sunday School after church from 11:30-12:00pm.
 
Pray for the Ukraine  May 17 noon a simply sevice in the sancutary.  Please bring a bag lunch for a discussion group after.
 
Contemplative Quiet Prayer: Next one is May 18
Consider gifting yourself this time of dedicated quiet to be with God.
Led by parishioner Diane Paras and held in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m.– all are welcome.
 
Celtic Music Concert: Sunday, May 15
Allison Hampton and Linn Barnes return to perform at Trinity on Sunday, May 15th at 4pm. They will share favorite selections on the Celtic harp, lute, and guitars. A reception will follow in the parish hall.
 
Family Fun Nite: Friday, May 20
We have planned another fun night at the Parish Hall for Trinity youth. Kids of all ages are invited to join us for pizza, games, crafts, popcorn and a movie! Parents are invited to stay and play, or drop off the kids and enjoy an evening out. Please RSVP to Kelly Estes at 675-2225 or email: ckestes4@comcast.net
 
Pentecost Family Picnic: Sunday, June 5
We’ll wrap-up our church program year with a parish wide picnic in the yard beside Trinity House following the 10:30am worship service. The church will provide fried chicken and drinks, and all of the paper products. Bring folding chairs and a dish to share! If inclement weather prevails, we’ll move into the Parish Hall.
 
Vacation Bible School: 9am-noon, June 6-10
In collaboration with Washington Baptist Church, we are offering a community wide Bible School this summer at Trinity. Children ages pre-school through 5th grade are invited to a week of fun celebrating our love for Christ through Bible stories, music, arts & crafts and other fun activities. Celebration of New Ministry: Saturday, June 18
The Rev. Elizabeth Keeler will be officially installed as Trinity’s 30th Rector at this special worship service. Prayers and blessings will be offered by members of the clergy and vestry and The Rev. Ben Maas will officiate. The congregation and community at large are invited to attend.
  

Parish Retreat at Shrine Mont: July 15-17
Mark your calendars and join us as we return to Shrine Mont for this favorite summer getaway!  Spend time relaxing and enjoying the pool, hiking trails, labyrinth, and bookstore while also engaging in Bible study and planned activities.  Meals are served family style at the lodge, and we’ll gather for cherished ‘porching’ time in the evenings.  Sunday worship is held at the outdoor Shrine of the Transfiguration, the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. Shrine Mont is a retreat center in the Shenandoah Valley and more information can be found on their website at www.shrinemont.com. Details and the schedule of events for our specific weekend will follow in the coming weeks. All are welcome.
