Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
Tuesday, Feb 25 @6pm in the Parish Hall
Also known as 'Mardi Gras' or 'Fat Tuesday' in some places, Shrove Tuesday is the day before Lent starts on Ash Wednesday. It began as an idea to use up food or fattening ingredients before Lent. Hence, pancakes became a popular way to use up the rich eggs and milk which were common in most households.
So, come one, come all for a pancake feast! There's no charge. The youth will be cooking and serving and we'd love to see you there!
